We have begun learning how to use chromebooks in class!

We are learning how to login independently, bookmark sites, change font size, colour and style.

We will be learning how to design posters using Canva, write our stories in google docs, create slide show presentations and successfully research a topic on Google.

We created Picasso inspired Easter bunnies.

We looked at Picasso’s art style and discussed all the funny lines and colours he uses.

We had step by step instructions on how to draw our rabbit and then we were given freedom to draw our crazy lines and colours!

Today we created our own interpretation of Vincent Van Gogh’s Sunflower Painting.

First we looked at his painting and other version created by other artists. Next we went and looked at the sunflowers in our garden at school to help us think about how they look.

Step by step we were led to draw the different parts of the sunflowers and it’s pot. We used a wax crayon to colour in the table, stem, petals and seeds of the sunflower. Then we dyed the background a dark blue to make the sunflowers stand out. Lastly, we chose two colours of paper and ripped them into small pieces to add texture to our pot.
